The Four Seasons Resort Bali is located on the
southern tip of the island of Bali on the northeast slopes of the Bukit
peninsula. Luxuriously appointed private Villas are built into a gently terraced
hillside named Bukit Permai, which means beautiful hill, with spectacular views
of Jimbaran Bay and Bali's sacred Mount Agung the thirty-five acres of superbly
landscaped tropical gardens gracefully descend to a sandy beach. The resort is
only a 15 minute ride from Denpasar's Ngurah Rai International Airport and
ideally situated for siteseeing and shopping excursions.
Warung Mie: Is
casual Restaurant at the Resort offers exotic and traditional noodle dishes from
Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. Located near the lobby in Village
Square III, this informal venue is set beside a
water Garden. Guests may dine at the large antique communal dining table
from Java, which seats 22 guests and watch activity in the open Kitchen, noodle
Bar, where the chefs prepare each dish to order.
Additional deck seating at smaller tables on
the edge of the water garden is also available.Warung Mie is open for dinner
from 5:30-9:30 every night. Seats: 46.
Pool Terrace Cafe: The
menu features salads, sandwiches, entrees, Spa cuisine, Indonesian and Asian
favourites. Open from 11:00-6:30, the Pool Terrace Café. Seats: 56.
Taman Wantilan Restaurant: Appropriately
named as a special meeting place in a secluded Garden.
This fine Restaurant is situated 98 feet 30 m above the shoreline and
offers an excellent view of Jimbaran Bay and Bali's distant mountain range with
two open-sided pavilions and sea breezes to ensure comfortable dining
year-round. The innovative menu offers a choice of contemporary Western fare,
Indonesian specialties and an inspired selection of nutritionally balanced
healthier fare. Breakfast served from 6:30-11:00 and dinner from 06:00-10:00.
Piano music from Monday to Saturday and Keroncong band every Sunday. The main
dining area has seating for 104 and a private dining pavilion for 14 guests is
also available.
The Terrace Bar & Lounge: Enjoy your favourite
cocktail or afternoon tea at The Terrace Bar and Lounge. The Lounge is open from
12 noon. Midnight with seating in the bar area for 27 and in the lounge for 36.
Pantai Jimbaran or PJ's: Offers al fresco beachside
dining at its finest. Mediterranean-inspired dishes, seafood specialties, pizza
from a wood-burning oven and cool refreshments are served in the breezy
beachside pavilions. PJ's is open from 11:00-10:00 for meals and has seating for
120 guests.
Villa Service: Breakfast, lunch, dinner or between-meal snacks are served around
the clock at each villa's dining area, overlooking scenic Jimbaran Bay.
Cooking School: Housed
in a free-standing building, entry to the Cooking School is through a
stoned paved courtyard and garden area. Enormous glass doors open on to an
Air-conditioning Kitchen area with gleaming state-of-art appliances, and
boasting a large black granite, kidney-shaped preparation unit with induction
hot plates. An adjacent space houses a solid teak table and chairs of modern
Balinese design for cooking school students to savour the variety of items
prepared during the sessions. In the entry courtyard optional dining and
recreational space includes a pantry with items for sale.
The school opens six days a week and is closed on Friday. It offers four self-contained
modules. The Art of Balinese Entertaining, Indonesian Cuisine, Asian Cuisine and
Spa Cuisine to appeal to the novice and experienced
alike. The dedicated school chef in his interaction with a maximum of ten
participants imparts the culinary secrets of Asia during each module.
Recreation:
Water from the 112 foot 34-metre long main Swimming pool
spills over the edge into a 23 foot 7-metre waterfall into the free-form soaking
pool below. Hot and cold spa pools are located nearby. Complimentary
Windsurfing, Sailing and Kayaking equipment are available at the Beach
Activities Centre as well as a fully-serviced Kid’s Room.
The Tennis programme is managed by Peter Burwash International and facilities
include two floodlit Tennis courts with a full-time PBI Tennis professional is
available for private lessons and group clinics. Complimentary use of the court,
racquets, shoes and balls with complimentary ballboys 07:00-10:00 and
04:00-08:00.
Library & Lounge:
This comfortable and
luxurious area accommodates guests with late flight departures
or early morning arrivals, while showers and changing facilities are available.
Complete with newspapers, magazines and books, the library is a haven for all
those interested in the archipelago's rich history, spirituality, geography,
arts and crafts. Two terminals
offer direct Internet access. Compact discs and video cassette tapes are
available for play in the Lounge and for in-villa enjoyment.

Art Gallery:
Highlighting
Indonesian artists with an emphasis on local Balinese talent, this innovative gallery also features other artists living and working in Bali
who have migrated abroad. There are four curated shows a year along with a
revolving collection of additional. Complimentary admission from noon - 08:00
daily.
The Spacious 147 Villas, are clustered in groups of 20 around seven village squares. Each village
square has its designated village chief and circle of service family members,
who are on duty around the clock to handle special services and requests.
One Bedroom Villa 139 units on the Oceafront-2152 ft², 200 m²: The
one Bedroom Villa contains spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. Three
thatched-roof pavilions include an open-sided Living, Dining areas,
Air-conditioning sleeping pavilio
with adjoining dressing closet area and bathing pavilion complete with an
oversized soaking Bathtub, Double vanities, separate Shower and WC, there is
also an outdoor Shower in the adjacent secluded garden.
Outdoor areas are planted with lush flowering shrubs and tropical plants. Every
one Bedroom Villa has a 129 square foot 12 sq. The one Bedroom Villa contains
spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. Three thatched-roof pavilions include
an open-sided Living, Dining area; Air-conditioning sleeping paviliuare metre
plunge pool, private Sundeck and a view of Jimbaran Bay. A television and VCR is
located in the Bedroom area.
Two Bedroom Villa 6-3985 ft², 370 m²: A
landscaped Garden surrounds the entryway of each two Bedroom Villa, which
features an enlarged Living, Dining area, Kitchenette, Pantry, 161 square foot
15 m² plunge pool and two separate Sundecks.
Two Bedroom Villas have twin and king Bedrooms, with separate Dressing Rooms and
Double closets, private Bathrooms, each with an oversized soaking Bathtub,
Double Vanities, indoor, outdoor Showers and separate WC.
Televisions and VCRs are provided in each Bedroom.
Royal Villa 2-6462 ft², 600 m²: These sumptuous,
individually designed Royal Villas have spacious Living, Dining areas furnished
with original Indonesian antiques and artifacts. A lush tropical Garden is part
of the interior courtyard design and their prime foreshore locations offer
sweeping views of Jimbaran Bay, as well as convenient access to the guest
facilities of the Resort.
Each Royal Villa has two large Bedrooms with attached Bathrooms, which are
fitted with a deep-soaking Bath, indoor/outdoor Showers, Double Vanities and
separate WC. Other luxurious features of the Royal Villas include a private 280
square foot 26 m² Swimming pool, Sauna, Spa, cold plunge pool and two large
Sundecks. A Kitchen pantry and the services of a butler are also provided.
