Denizli in south-western Turkey is the capital of Denizli province, located 110 km from the Aegean Sea. Denizli is primarily an agricultural city with some light industry, particularly in cotton fabric production. Denizli has major highway and railroad connections that provide easy access to almost any major city in Turkey.

Pamukkale, a magical and spectacular natural site, unique in the world, Pamukkale is a fairyland of dazzling white, petrified castles. Thermal spring waters laden with calcareous salts running off the plateau's edge have created this fantastic formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins. The hot springs have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers.
