HistoryThe Beau-Rivage Palace has built a reputation for being one of Europe's favorite

24 March 1861 marks the inauguration of the Hotel in the Lakeside Village of Ouchy. 47 years
later, in 1908, opens the second part of the Hotel, the Palace Wing. Built in a different
style, neo-baroque, the Palace was connected to the Beau-Rivage wing by its beautiful and
impressive masterpiece " La Rotonde ".
For almost 140 years, the Beau-Rivage Palace has gone through wars and crisis and is still
standing majestically on the lakeshores. After 8 years of ground renovations, it is today as
resplendent as at its inauguration’s day and is one of Europe’s truly original Resort
Hotels.
Located in 10 acres of Parkland, on the banks of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, the elegant belle
époque Buildings of the Beau-Rivage Palace command breathtaking Views across the lake to
the majestic French Alps beyond. Sumptuous architecture, antiques and fine reproductions steep
guests in the glorious past in both public and private spaces. On the other hand, guests feel
instantly at home, thanks to the warm and attentive staff, which includes Switzerland's
only female chief concierge.
La Rotonde Gourmet
Restaurant offers A La Carte meals with Piano Entertainment. During the summer,
Lunch and Dinner may be served on the Panoramic Terrace.
- Lunch : 12 pm to 2pm.
- Dinner : 7 pm to 10 pm for the last order.
- Closed for Lunch on Saturday.
Le Café Beau-Rivage has a
casual and relaxed atmosphere of a Parisian Style Brasserie with Piano entertainment every evening.
There are several culinary promotions
during the year.
- Summer : From 9 am to 11:30 pm.
- Other months : Monday through Friday 11 am to 11:30 pm.
- Saturday and Sunday :
9 am to 1 am.
Le Miyako Lausanne: In a contemporary and comfortable setting
overlooking a beautiful terrace facing the lake, the Miyako Lausanne offers a
traditional Japanese cuisine with its Sushi and Sashimi prepared on the spot.
- Lunch : 12 pm to 2 pm.
- Dinner : 7 pm to 10 pm for the last order.
- Closed on Sunday and Monday
Ô Terrasse offers
informal and light meals served in a green surrounding, next to the Pool. It
opens from 10 am to 6 pm in the summer.
The Wine Bar is an original and relaxed
Bar with an extensive choice of wine by the glass. Dish of the day served with a
wine selection. It opens from 11 am to 2 pm / 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Closed on Sundays.
The English Bar has an
elegant English atmosphere with Piano Entertainment every evening. Small snack menu all day long. It opens from 9.30 am to 1am daily.
In Grammont Breakfast Room have your first meal of the day with an unforgettable View on the Lake and the
sunrise.
