Designed with both International and local architects who have extensive knowledge and experience of building in the region, using the finest local materials and finishings, La Cordées design will reflect the Alpine environment and flavours which make Verbier so unique.
When you arrive at La Cordée you will see an authentic canvas rucksack, wooden ice axe and leather climbing boots used by climbers during what was probably the most exciting era of European alpinism. Over 100 years ago, every summer climber from all over Europe arrived in the Alps to attempt to summit unconquered mountains peaks. With them would arrive the Alps first tourists, spectators and walkers with travel trunks keen to enjoy summer in the Alps.
The first hotels were built and the Swiss began developing their unparalleled sense of service and the alpine holiday experience was born. Shortly after, skiing became a sport, the first lifts were installed and ski holidays became the winter holiday of choice for Europe’s elite.
Restaurant
The menu features seasonal, traditional ingredients and the chefs at La Cordée commit to sourcing delicious fresh, local produce. The interior of the restaurant pays respect to its mountain environment using flagstone flooring, wooden beams and full length shuttered windows yet with contemporary touches such as the cosy booths, an open plan kitchen and large central bar ensures that guests become part of the whole restaurant experience. On entering the restaurant enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail at our central bar or why not spend some time there with friends sampling our bar menu.
Our restaurant holds up to 110 guests, however has a private dining area for 22 guests and the spectacular chefs table where up to seven guests can gain an insight into the intensity and art of the kitchen.

Golf
The Essert course has been built in Verbier at an altitude of 1600 meters. This mountain course dominates the area with each hole provinding stunning views of the sourrounding mountain ranges, Combin, Rogneux and Mont-Blanc.This singular aspect of course design makes the walking easy and a round of golf enjoyable for players of all ages. Les Esserts is quite short, with very spacious fairways and greens, but the 18 holes feature many natural hazards, including numerous streams.

Skiing
Your very own ski man is on hand to greet you in the morning to have your equipment ready to go. He will be able to advise you on the snow conditions and where the best area for skiing that day is. He can recommend to you the top mountain restaurants and book you a table for lunch. For the more advanced skiers among you we can organize an exhilarating day out where you will feel on top of the world. Snowboarding
Verbiers mountains are perfect for snowboarding, whether its in the snowboard park at La Chaux, on the pistes or choose from incredible itinerary runs and back country routes.
Sledging
Whether you are a beginner or a bold enthusiast with a breakneck style, the region's sled run--the longest in French-speaking Switzerland--promise excitement and a lot of laughs! To reach the start, take the cable car from La Tzoumaz or Verbier. Located on the north side of the mountain, the run has great snow cover and a hair-raising height difference of 848 metres! For safety reasons, we recommend to wear a helmet and that children are accompanied by an adult. At La Fouly you can toboggan on the Petite Combe run. A lift takes you to the start point. Chez Dani
Situated half way between Ruinettes and Medran, Chez dani is the perfect place for a long lunch. Enjoy its sunny terrace with stunning views of the alpes before heading home to the Cordée.
La Dahu
At the bottom of La Chaux, the Dahu is the latest mountain restaurant, head chef Claud Alain offers a self service restaurant and a more formal dining room both with spectacular views of the alpes.
Le Cristal
Two restaurants and an outside bar with stunning views of the petit combin.
Cabane de Mont Fort
Take the tele-cabine from la Chaux to Mont fort and enjoy the scenary en-route to the Cabane where you can try their famous fondue.
