Gimo Herrgard Hotel was the first manor house built in the Gustavian style, designed by architect Jean Eric Rehn in the 1760s, a monument to the heyday of the Uppland ironworks. Gimo Herrgard was the first manor-house built in Sweden in the Gustavian style. It is situated at the end of an impressive drive, by a beautiful pond surrounded by 250 year-old elms and lime trees. We warmly welcome all those who enjoy the good things in life and would like to do so in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
