The historic Ulfshyttan was built 100 years ago, in the countryside with a lively,
informal atmosphere where comfort and excellent food are given top priority.
The Hotel Ulfshyttans Herrgard is located in the heart of the iron-producing region
of Bergslagen. A foundry was established here as early as the beginning of the 17th century.
The blast furnace, the ruins of which can be seen at Ulfshyttan, was built at the end of the
18th century.
The Restaurant's three Dining Rooms are beautifully situated with views of Lake Ulvsjon
and offer, even small groups, the possibility of Dining in privacy. Culinary emphasis is on
well-prepared classical dishes in combination with the best available local and seasonal
produce from the woods, lakes and land. Special game dinners can be arranged, with open fires
and candlelight, in the timber Eldhus out on the promontory.
The charming Manor House in a pretty setting with a unique Turret Room with panoramic views in
all directions.
