Fryksas Hotell is a beautifully restored 16th
century fabod (remote livestock farmhouse), located high up
in the hills of Darlana and
overlooking spectacular rural scenery.
This unique environment is complemented by an
inviting atmosphere, superb gastronomic experiences and outstanding
service.
There
are more than 150 ancient timber buildings adding to the historic
atmosphere of Fryksas.
For centuries, they have been used by farmers
from the village of Banas, who moved their livestock here each summer
to graze on the rich pastures.

farmland, in the centre of Sweden.
The town of Orsa is 12
km away, Mora 30 km and Stockholm
350 km.
Mora has an airport with

Fryksas for the gastronomic experiences alone.
