Welcome to Anovolios and to Aghios Georgios -
the highest mountain village of Pelion – with its unique view of Pagasitikos
gulf, the island of Evia and the Sporades .Anovolios” in
local language means, “small stone hill”, which we tossed around until they
transformed into six hospitable stone houses or as we say, “a village inside
the village!”
Traditional materials combined with art and feeling, co-exist harmoniously with
modern equipment; all carefully selected and cared for in an incognito way.
Aghios Georgios is just half an hour ,20 km away from the city of
Volos , a ten minute drive from Vizitsa and Milies and about
half an hour from the nearest beaches of the Aegean and of Pagasitikos gulf.
How you will come to Anovolios
Drive through Volos , following the signs to Tsagarada,
continue through Agria and in Ano Lechonia turn left following the
sign to Ag. Vlassios, Ag. Georgios, Pinakates. Its 20 km from Volos or
about half an hour drive
Anovolios resort is in the centre of the village, 50
m before the central square.
In two-leveled bar restaurant, housed in the larger building of the
complex, you can find home made delicacies from locally produced and primarily
organic foods.
