Just half an hour away from Ioannina, situated at the top of the traditional village of Kipi in Zagori, in a privileged location away from the central road, Kipi Suites offers panoramic view to the village, Mitsikeli mountain, Baya river and Milos stone bridge, while instantly creates a sense of calmness and relaxation. Special attention has been given to the design of Kipi Suites. While the outside of the hotel follows the traditional architecture of Zagori and forms a small neighborhood inside the village, the interior is contemporarily decorated. The eight suites, all different, have one or two fireplaces, undisturbed view, while most have a private porch or a balcony. The furniture is custom made and contributes, along with designers’ cloths and items and hidden lightings, to a modern and minimal, but at the same time warm result. The suites are equipped with all modern amenities such as 32’’HDTV, Ipod base and Nespresso coffee maker, while most of the spacious bathrooms, have a jacuzzi.
Great care has been given to the breakfast as far as it concerns both the variety and the quality: fresh local ingredients, home-made bread, sweets, pies, marmalades; even yogurt is produced in-house. The hotel boasts the “Dilofo Bites” restaurant, where, besides breakfast, light snacks and local delicacies are served throughout the day.
From noon onwards, coffee, refreshments or drinks are served at “Kipi Lounge”. The wine cellar, one of the most comprehensive in the region of Epirus, has more than sixty labels of Greek wines along with a great variety of alcoholic drinks.
Kipi Suites is the perfect base for exploring the unparallel beauty of Zagori and showing the visitor a different and unexplored aspect of Greece, be it outdoor activities such as trekking, rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, paragliding or cultural ventures such as exploring the local distinctive architecture, visiting museums, churches, monasteries or experiencing the local cuisine and wines. Kipi Suites organizes regularly such events, but can also assist the visitor in tailoring a program suitable for his needs and interests.
Kipi Suites is located in Kipi village in Zagori, overlooking the river of Baya and Mitsikeli mountain. The guesthouse combines the local traditional architecture with modern design interiors.
A rich breakfast and light meals are served in the guesthouse’s restaurant. They include homemade bread, yoghurt, jams and sweets, all produced with local ingredients.
