The Markezinis Suites mansion is situated in the middle of the traditional village of Messaria, about 4 km southeast of Fira.

As part of the mansion’s lower multiplex area, in the hyposcaphon style (one of the islanders’ traditional way to concave their homes into the rock), the atmospheric restaurant awaits you for a wonderful evening. Heavy wooden monastic tables matched with forged iron seats, antique furniture and chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceiling set the tone for the romantic ambience and a lingering sense of nostalgia.
The restaurant’s romantic mood hinting at privacy and luxury is ideal as a background for wedding receptions, banquets or special events.
In the restaurant you can also join our Chef in cooking classes and learn how to create the delicious traditional plates of the island and many more. Or, you can enjoy cheese and oil tasting and learn everything about the history and production of the world famous Greek olive oil.
Guest services include, aside the personal attendance and welcoming by the hotel manager, a basket of fruit and wine or other welcome surprise upon arrival, bell-boy service, Wi-Fi internet access in all areas of the Mansion, 24h reception, 24h room-service, laundry services, turn-down services, as well as travel, excursion and concierge arrangements. Massage and SPA treatments are provided upon request by outsourced partners.

The hyposcaphon(meaning carved into the earth) style multiplex area of the restaurant is ideal for hosting exhibitions, wedding receptions and various events, while the mansion’s wine bar boasts a wide selection of fine wines, both international and local.
The Markezinis Suites mansion has 4 double suites and 2 Markezinis suites. The entire Mansion can also be booked as a Villa, the ideal venue for hosting exclusively guests of weddings or other special occasions, where they’ll be able to enjoy luxury along with a unique sense of privacy.
Double Suites (2 persons):
The suites, with 30-35 SQM of private space, are built in open-plan style. They boast antique traditional furnishings, art-painted walls and ceilings, as well as beautiful wooden floors, all hinting at the splendor of the wealthy 19th century mansions. To complete their atmosphere of discreet luxury, all modern comforts and amenities are there, including a Jacuzzi bathtub with shower in the spacious bathroom.
Markezinis Suites (for 2 persons):
Suites with 40-45 SQM of private space and a living area for those enjoying a bit more space. In harmony with the mansion’s neo-classical style, art-painted walls and high, vaulted ceilings, along with wooden floors recreate the lush 19th century feeling of the mansion. And, as the sophisticated luxury of the suites commands, the built-in Jacuzzi bathtub with shower serves as a final touch to a perfect romantic escape.
All suites are complemented with V.I.P. bath amenities, fluffy bathrobes, slippers, feather pillows and duvets. Other suite amenities include air-conditioning, satellite flat-screen TV, DVD player, direct dial phone, Wi-Fi access to the internet, safe boxe, mini-bar and hairdryer.
