The houses in Anatoli village
are representative of the local prototypes and have been restored with
respect to their authenticity.
Their unique character has been enhanced with beautiful
detailing and the introduction of elements of the traditional Cretan
vocabulary.
They are oriented towards southeast, capturing magnificent
views from every room, terrace or courtyard to the Libyan Sea
of island of Crete.
Their interiors are furnished with selected pieces from 19th
century neoclassical Greece and with paintings of well known Greek
artists.
Anatoli village, a very
old settlement from Venetian
times, has kept its historic character and is being rapidly renovated
as a unique vacation resort.
With 600m altitude, surrounded by
wild countryside, gigantic rock formations and natural spring waters,
has been famous from past times for its healthy, dry climate.
The
location is ideal for its peaceful environment with cool
microclimate in the summer, the splendid views to the Libyan Sea and the
proximity
to beautiful sandy beaches of east Crete.

This, early twenties, medium sized country house is 56m2,
and can accommodate up to 4 persons.
It is laid out in one level, with its back façade (where the
main entrance gate) towards the old market street and two other facades
looking towards east and the sea.
Its main façade opens to a side courtyard of 17m2,
that has a second gate door to a narrow walkway. An exterior stair
leads to a 45m2 top view terrace with splendid
views to the sea.
In front of the house extends another village house in ruins
(in a lower level), mixing up antiquity with today’ s life.
The house comprises two main rooms, separate kitchen and a
bathroom (with shower). There is one double bedroom and one large,
oblong sitting room with fireplace and an eating corner,
furnished with a stylish couch that easily converts into a double bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a four ring electric plate
and an oven, a refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine,
toaster, electric kettle etc.
