Vangelis Villas are directly above the sea and have nice views from the private terraces and gardens across the sea to Agios Nikolaos.
There are three villas and four apartments furnished in a simple Cretan style. Vangelis Villas also feature a large swimming pool, filled with clean sea water, furnished with sun beds and umbrellas, as well as a pool side bar.
Vangelis Villas nestle in the hillside just above the shoreline with a superb view of the sea flanked by mountains on one hand, and at night, the twinkling lights of Agios Nikolaos across the bay on the other.
In the morning if you wake up early enough, you can watch little fishing boats, silhouetted by the rosy down sky, chug across the bay from Agios Nikolaos.
For those interested in historical sites there are many archeological places to visit; the Byzantine church of Panagia Kyra; the Ancient Doric city of Lato; the Minoan town of Gournia; the Faneromeny Monastery; the Spinalonga peninsula; the Toplou Monastery; the Minoan Palace of Kato Zakros; the Minoan Palace of Knossos; the Palm forest of Vai.
