Specialising in International dishes with distinctively South African flair, The Westcliff has already gained an enviable reputation for its cuisine. La Belle Terrasse and The Loggia both offer spectacular views, a relaxed atmosphere and superb service. Afternoon tea and drinks are served in the Polo Lounge, Terrace and Bar which, with its breathtaking views, has instantly become a celebrated rendezvous.

La Belle Terrasse and Loggia: La Belle Terrasse, The Westcliff's signature Restaurant, does more than provide fine in-house dining for guests - it has swiftly become the destination Restaurant for Johannesburg's executive and social set. This is a remarkable achievement for a new Hotel Restaurant and La Belle Terrasse's success is undoubtedly due to the combination of its people, its food and its undeniable flair. The style is friendly and fuss-free, there is no pretension or ostentation, the decor and table settings are simple yet superbly elegant, and above all, the service is seamless. Only the finest and freshest ingredients are used to prepare exceptional, yet simple cuisine. The wine list features a remarkable selection of the very best estate wines from the Cape. The alfresco terrace - while making for a superb dining experience with a bird’s eye view of the city by day or night - also provides smokers with a welcome respite from the country’s stringent smoking legislation!

This beautiful dining area abuts the La Belle Terrasse Restaurant. In addition to being utilised as an extension of the fine dining area when required, this Room with its panoramic views over the Johannesburg Zoological Gardens is suitable for formal Banquets for up to 50 guests or cocktail parties for up to 80 people. La Belle Terrasse and the adjoining Loggia are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, each providing a selection of stylishly simple dishes presented with Executive Chef Andrew Atkinson's innovative touch.

The Conservatory: The Conservatory is the ideal Venue for all-day light dining and refreshments, where guests can enjoy the spectacular views across the elevated pool deck to Forest Town and the Zoological Gardens beyond. It is light, airy, sunny and stylishly tastefully decorated with Lloyd Loom furniture and Kentia palms. A full a la-Carte menu is on offer, together with delicious morning and afternoon teas. This relaxed area with its open windows, works well to accommodate both smokers and non-smokers alike.

The Polo Lounge: The Polo Lounge, Terrace and Bar has quickly established itself as the place to meet in Johannesburg. With its wood-panelled walls, gleaming copper tables, deep cane chairs, historic polo photographs and leather sofas, the Polo Lounge is reminiscent of a cosy sitting Room set in an extensive colonial home. With its informal atmosphere and cosy furnishing, not to mention the great selection of traditional cocktails and mixers, the Polo Bar is the ideal spot to rendezvous before dinner in La Belle Terrasse – or afterwards for a nightcap or cigar. Located next to the Bar, the Polo Lounge is the perfect meeting place for coffee, tea or cocktails. An all-day, light snack menu features excellent sandwiches, salads and pastas. An ideal place for all-day dining, the Polo Lounge offers an ΰ la carte snack menu which includes delicious salads, crayfish pizzas and the famous Westcliff hamburger. In the evening, the highly polished Bar near the fireplace is an inviting place to meet for pre-dinner drinks or lingering nightcaps.
