BEACH & POOLS
Relax at our exclusive sandy beach, where sun beds, umbrellas, a towel service and beach bar are available so you can enjoy a day by the sea while tasting delicious cocktails and snacks. Alternatively, dive into our infinity heated sea water swimming pool with amazing views of the private cove, part of which is reserved for children. There are also two sea water indoor pools in our state-of-the-art Spa for those looking for the perfect way to wind down.

KIDS & CRECHE CLUB
Ask any parent. Enjoying a holiday is so much easier if the kids are having supervised fun in a safe, structured environment. That’s why childcare is such an important part of the Daios family holiday experience: mum and dad can escape for a little bit of ‘us’ time, secure in the knowledge that their children are being looked after by a dedicated team of childcare specialists.
Babies and toddlers are supervised in the Crèche Club by UK childcare experts Worldwide Kids Co, with qualified nursery staff meeting UK standards and regulations. Meanwhile, older kids can check in for fun at the well-equipped Children’s Club where friendly, highly trained multilingual staff will make them feel at home and provide games and activities. Daios is geared up for families, with a child-friendly beach, pool games and babysitting services — so safe and secure fun is child’s play.

ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS
What to do first? At Daios Cove there’s an endless supply of top-class sporting activities to amuse guests of every age, from water-skiing, pedalos, canoeing and scuba diving to tennis, fitness training, yoga and pilates. 

There’s also a full range of entertainment available, including tailor-made excursions to the most famous places on the island, and in-resort wine-tasting sessions. 
Plus, when the hot sun goes down, there’s a cool programme of DJ nights, dancing and live events, with guest artists playing latin, funk, soul, jazz, traditional Mediterranean and Cretan music under the stars. Wet or dry, Daios Cove offers the opportunity to blend familiar favourite activities with fascinating and exciting new experiences.
Water sports centre
With expert tuition and supervision from our trained water sports staff, guests can take a trip around the bay in canoes, kayaks and pedalos or have fun on water-bikes and stand-up paddle boards. Private yachts, motorboats and catamarans are available for rent and sail, too.

Scuba diving
Both novices and veteran divers can experience an unforgettable undersea adventure at Daios Cove. Our diving centre features approved coaching from trained PADI diving professionals for all levels, from beginners through to expert. Underwater excursions, including a visit to a shipwreck, are also available.

Tennis courts
Whatever their level — be they serious tennis pros or just-for-fun players — tennis fans will love our two courts with artificial grass surfaces. These are floodlit, too, so games don’t have to be played in the heat of the afternoon sun.

Fitness, Yoga & Pilates
Guests can work up a sweat in our state-of-the-art fitness studio, equipped by Technogym training equipment, with personal trainers on hand to make sure they get the most from their exercise sessions. It’s not all about working out, though: there’s wind down time, too, courtesy of a yoga or pilates class.

Culture at the Cove
For guests who prefer a less hectic time, there’s a whole range of entertainment available at Daios Cove. Create a bespoke excursion to one of the many must-see locations in Crete; or book a cookery lesson or enjoy a wine-tasting session. Then there’s a programme of music, including DJ nights and our Culture at the Cove live events under the stars, featuring everything from traditional Greek to Latin and jazz.

The world-famous Cretan cuisine is featured in all our menus. Prepared with fresh local ingredients, seasoned with naturally grown herbs and inspired by our skilled chefs and their innovative ideas, our culinary experiences boast the utmost culinary indulgence.

OCEAN RESTAURANT
Overlooking the infinity pool and the cove, the refined ambience of the Ocean Restaurant is your departure point for a memorable journey around the world of sumptuous cuisine. Its Mediterranean-influenced menu uses fresh ingredients in a creative way and is the passport to an exciting culinary adventure. The Ocean also serves breakfast exclusively to Suite and Villa guests.

PANGEA
BREAKFAST AND FOOD BAZAAR
The ideal place to dine and take in the landscape of the cove with uninterrupted views to the Aegean Sea. This international food bazaar boasts dishes from around the world including delectable vegetarian and vegan options. In the grill corner our experienced chefs cook meat and fish over natural wood fires. Featuring a new, contemporary and elegant design, the restaurant has a buffet menu which takes alfresco dining to another level.

TRADITIONAL GREEK CUISINE
Taverna is a Greek à la carte venue overlooking the cove offering a special ambience, particularly at night. Taverna serves superb local specialties with a fine selection of Greek and international wines. Fish is a must-taste dish here with a fresh catch arriving every day by kaiki boats.

The Crystal Box is a bar with its own contemporary and comfortable outside lounge, offering a spectacular panorama of the bay — the perfect place to sit, sip a signature cocktail and unwind. You can also relax in its cool, stylish and elegant interior, and see those incredible views from another perspective: framed through dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows. 
The colourful cocktail menu is constantly enriched with our mixologists’ inspirations featuring Daios Cove signature cocktails. The local herbs add a new twist to some old time classic recipes, for that authentic Cretan experience. Ask for a cocktail to be based on your favourite herb and enjoy it icy cold on a scorching summer night.
