Getting there:
- By car
From Lyon, follow the A43 Motorway towards Geneva, then the A430 Motorway to
Albertville beyond Chambéry.
A trunk road leads thence to the small town of Moûtiers, half an hour
from Courchevel.
From Geneva, follow the motorway or the lake-side road towards Annecy then
Albertville .
- By train
A TGV (high speed train) runs several times a day between Paris and Chambéry.
There is a connecting service to Moûtiers. This connection operates on
the return journey too.
TGV service direct from Paris to Moûtiers every weekend during the
winter season. During week-end too, direct Eurostar available from London or
Bruxelles.
- By plane
Fly to Lyon Saint-Exupéry or Geneva, allowing for a two-hour and a
half drive from either airport. Some flights also come into Chambéry.
